Will for a friend…

O’ I long to call you ‘brother’, for ’tis much more than friend,
Thicker than blood ’tis understood, a bond beyond, and without end.

O’ I wish to call you ‘sister’, and in glory with you be,
To weep and joy, new faith employ, until the Lord we see.

O’ I desire to call you brethren, the time draweth ever near,
When trump shall sound, and from the ground, the saints they shall
appear.

So finally, I say to thee – this wisdom I’ll impart,
That should you wish the same to me, repentance be our start.
